BOWLINE KNOT

Simple knot used to form a fixed ‘eye’ at the end of a rope. It has the virtues of being both easy to tie and untie; most notably, it is easy to untie after being subjected to a load. We recommend it for tying your hammock ropes to the tree trunk as the knot can me moved up and down easily for additional height adjustment.

CLEAT HITCH

Great for storing your hammock ropes. Just form a cleat from your thumb and pinkie and make more rounds to fully bundle the rope.

ROUND TURN KNOT

Alternative way of hanging your hammock to a tree – it gives more stability than bowline knot, but it’s practically impossible to move up or down the tree trunk. Beware! If tied incorrectly, this knot can damage the rope by increased friction, therefore we recommend it rather for rigging your tarp – it works perfectly.

PRUSIK (modyfikacja)

Great for makeshift tarp tieouts if you don’t have decidated hardware.
