BOGA is the most advanced tarp design, allowing it to be closed almost like a tent. It offers generous space and full weather protection. What makes it stand out?

A distinctive feature of BOGA is its octagonal shape: the extended 360 cm ridgeline provides superior rain protection for the hammock, while four doors at both ends act as closable flaps that can fully seal off the space under the tarp. The arched edge cuts ensure a tight pitch, preventing water from pooling into “bowls” on the fabric under its weight. To maximize living space, BOGA comes with an integrated external pole system: two self-supporting poles pull the tarp panels outward and upward. This feature is especially valuable when camping in damp or winter conditions, as it helps avoid brushing against a wet surface with your head or back.

With its dimensions, BOGA provides a spacious shelter for camping. It’s large enough to cook under, organize your gear, sleep (even with multiple people), or simply take cover from bad weather. Measuring 420 × 300 cm, it’s tailored for hammock protection while offering plenty of versatility. By lifting one side on trekking poles, you can create an open canopy facing the camp’s center. The end doors can be adjusted in different ways: spread outward to extend the tarp’s footprint, staked down to fully close the shelter, or set in a mixed configuration.

Six primary guyline points allow for quick and flawless setup. To make things even simpler, the tarp features built-in line tensioners. The suspension system is straightforward, one-handed, and knot-free: just stake the line and pull it tight. The tensioner automatically locks the cord in place. Tree attachment is also knotless, thanks to our custom-designed ZIPSY mini-hooks at the line ends. All four doors are fitted with the same tensioners for effortless adjustment.

For added durability, all guyline attachment points are reinforced with a vinyl–nylon laminate — the same material used in military gear and alpine rafts.

The tarp itself is made from ripstop silnylon with a hydrostatic head of 6000 mm H₂O (manufacturer’s lab test) — that’s 2–4× higher than the industry standard. The fabric is windproof, mechanically robust, and thanks to the ripstop weave, resistant to tearing if punctured.

The included manual is designed with high contrast and color-blind–friendly graphics. Guylines are bundled with color-coded bands that match the manual, making setup intuitive right from the start.
