FARBA is LESOVIK’s proprietary procedure for constructing camouflage patterns, designed from the ground up as an alternative to the camouflage patterns widely available on the market. Unlike standard military and civilian patterns, FARBA features an exceptionally large repeat (450 x 150 cm, 5x larger than popular military camouflage variants) and a multidirectional pattern architecture, meaning it produces no visible repetition regardless of viewing angle. This approach addresses real limitations that even modern military camouflage patterns run into. The worst example is the Polish “Pantera,” which contains practically every mistake one can make when designing camouflage: a small repeat (the pattern repeats roughly every 30 cm), no micro-pattern, no macro-pattern, and poorly contrasting colors. Contemporary camouflage patterns generally have a larger repeat (typically 150 x 80 cm) and richer structure, but even with this more modern approach, they often lack one or more of the features that FARBA camouflage combines:

  • a massive repeat, meaning in practice there isn’t a single pattern repetition anywhere on the product’s surface. The pattern layout on every single item is unique.
  • a multi-level masking structure suited to observation across a wide range of distances, from a few meters to several dozen meters.
  • a unique super-macro level, forming clusters of more than several dozen centimeters in size.
  • pattern resolution calculated based on the angular resolution of the human eye and the fractal distribution of shapes in the natural environment
  • colors and contrast that are calculated, not chosen: derived from photo analysis, with color contrast calculated using a hierarchical clustering method.

The F2 Terskog variant, dominated by greens and light browns, is intended for use in Central European dry forests and mixed environments with dense vegetation.

The fastest way for setting up a hammock camp

LARVA is a high-capacity stuff sack designed to organise and carry an entire hammock-based system as a single, integrated unit. It accommodates the hammock, underquilt, accessories, all suspension components, and in case of a summer setup or a down-insulation based setup, even a sleeping bag, all at once. Instead of unpacking and handling each element separately, the entire system is deployed in one operation, significantly reducing setup time and limiting unnecessary movement at campsite.

The workflow is simple and repeatable. Upon arrival, LARVA is handled exactly like a hammock: the daisy-chain suspension is pulled out, attached to trees, and clipped in with carabiners. Once suspended, the sack is slid off, releasing the full sleep system simultaneously. This approach supports low cognitive load, and efficient transitions from movement to rest. Breaking camp follows the same logic in reverse. All components are packed back into the sack, the suspension is unclipped, and any potentially dirty webbing is stored in dedicated external pockets that isolate it from the rest of the contents. The complete system is then ready to be stowed and carried immediately, without sorting or repacking individual bags.

At just 125 g, LARVA replaces the combined weight of multiple separate stuff sacks. For reference, the total weight of the individual sacks for DRAKA, OTUL Lite, HUBA, and a standard sleeping bag typically ranges from 77 g to 150 g, all of which become redundant when using LARVA as a unified system container.

The materials are proven across our other products:

  • main fabric: 100% silnylon ripstop with PU coating, providing waterproofing and protection against dirt, moisture, and mechanical wear
  • ventilation opening: a full-length spiral slit made from DRAKA mosquito-net mesh, allowing airflow during compression and reducing moisture buildup

LARVA is designed for users who treat their shelter as a system rather than a collection of parts.
