The performance of the SUL hammock comes from its MONOFIL fabric, a micro-mesh with reinforced ripstop weave. This material is highly resistant to loads and far more durable against mechanical damage than standard ultralight fabrics. Its most important feature, however, is the complete lack of coating, resulting in unlimited breathability. SUL offers 100% airflow and partial transparency.

SUL is designed for those who scrutinize every gram of their kit. Our primary goal was to retain all the user-friendly features and comfort familiar from our other models. We did not reduce the hammock’s weight by shrinking its size: it remains full-size (300 × 145 cm), comfortably accommodating users up to 190 cm tall.

To simplify setup even further, SUL comes standard with an advanced, fully adjustable suspension system. It’s a modified version of our new SNEKA UL system, where we cut weight by using aluminum toggles instead of carabiners. At its core are 20 mm-wide daisy chains made from Dyneema fibers; they serve both to anchor the hammock to trees and to adjust hanging length. Each chain adjusts from 3 to 300 cm, optimal for effective suspension. Adjustment is made by inserting a pin into the chosen “rung” of the daisy chain and attaching the Dyneema loop.

Because the daisy chains attach easily to trees and the guy-lines are fully adjustable, you can fine-tune the hammock even after hanging it, unlike with ordinary cords or straps, where adjustments must be made beforehand.

We design with color-blind users in mind: the suspension system’s pins are blue to contrast with green forest floor, and the included manual is printed in color-blind–friendly hues with high contrast.
